Why Your Bin Keeps Falling Over in Wind
A bin that keeps falling over is usually light, top-heavy and exposed to gusts—especially after collection when it is empty. Bin Waite adds weight low inside a compatible bin to help lower its centre of gravity and improve stability on windy days.
Each unit is made to order in regional NSW from recycled tyre. The kit includes a drilling template, four stainless-steel bolts, four washers and an installation guide. Mark and drill four holes, then secure Bin Waite flat inside the base. Customer installation is required; only modify a bin you own or have permission to alter.
Models are available for selected 80L, 140L and 240L SULO, Mastec and Trident bins. Prices are A$199 for 80L and 140L, and A$239 for 240L. Additional postage applies to regional areas, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Bin Waite helps reduce tipping and movement, but results depend on wind, slope, surroundings, bin condition and contents.
